Executive Council of the Goaingath Association of Michigan formed

The general meeting of the Gowainghat Association of Michigan was held on Sunday, May 4 at the prestigious Alif Restaurant in Warren City. The meeting was presided over by the organization’s president, Professor AZM Obaidullah, under the direction of General Secretary Advocate Deepak Chowdhury. The meeting was held in 2 phases. At the beginning, the organization’s office secretary Md. Ashraful Amin recited from the Holy Quran.
In the first session, the organization’s esteemed advisors, Sarbjanab Golam Kibria Helal, Jalal Uddin, Abdus Salam, Professor Aminul Haque, Monaf Ahmed Babul, and sponsors Akhter Hossain Masuk, Rosendra Kumar Das, Golam Azam Masuk, Abdul Malik and Abdul Haque spoke in the discussion meeting. The leaders highly praised the activities of the organization in their speeches and said that the activities of the Gowainghat Association of Michigan, which is formed by a group of young people and is very busy abroad, are truly commendable and this organization is contributing to the community and is also working for Gowainghat.
Other leaders who spoke included Md. Abdul Latif Babul, Md. Kamal Abedin, Joynal Uddin, Mofizur Rahman, Md. Helal Abedin, Abdul Khaliq, Iftekhar Helal, Dilwar Hossain, Koes Ahmed, Lecturer Alim Uddin, Belal Azad, Belal Uddin Master, Oliur Rahman, Ranu Mia, Abul Hasnat Ratan, Mohammad Musa, Harunur Rashid, Kamrul Hassan, Rasheduzzaman Russell, Sharif Ahmed, Masum Ahmed, Raihan Ahmed, Salman Ahmed Shiplu Mia.
After the first session, after lunch, in the second session, in the presence of all the Gowainghat residents living in Michigan, after a long discussion and review in a lively atmosphere, a full executive council of 31 members was formed for the year 2025-2026, with Md. Nazrul Islam Badrul as the president and Tariq Uddin as the general secretary, and a 5-member Honorary Advisory Council and a 5-member Sponsorship Council were formed. In their welcome speech, the president of the newly formed committee, Md. Nazrul Islam Badrul and general secretary Tariq Uddin sought the united cooperation of all the expatriate Gowainghat residents to accelerate the future activities of the Gowainghat Association of Michigan, the organization of the life of the Gowainghat residents, and expressed their thanks and gratitude to everyone.
Finally, the founder president of the organization, Professor AZM Obaidullah, and the secretary, Advocate Deepak Chowdhury, expressed their thanks and gratitude to everyone for their cooperation during their long tenure.
